Silver Lake is a small neighborhood in the eastern Los Angeles, surrounded by Echo Park, Westlake, East Hollywood, Los Feliz, and Atwater Village. Silver Lake is one of the more diverse neighborhoods in east LA. About one-third of the population is white. The majority of the population identify as Latino (41.8 percent), Asian (18 percent), or Black (3.2 percent).
